These are some dot points of what I think makes a good blog:

• Writing about typical things you do every day.
• Having nice pictures.
• Not having too much personal information but still having a bit.
• Linking from your blog to other useful sites.
• Putting lots of things to read.
• Categorising your posts and items.
• Having different pages on different things.
